Two Leos may compete over who leads. The system distinguishes three types of Leo: the lion, the hunting lioness and the nursing lioness. They are images of behavior and do not depend on the person’s sex or sexual orientation.
The lion represents someone who tends to lead, give instructions and keep generous room for rest. The hunting lioness symbolizes someone who works outside the home and encourages their partner’s professional growth, even with financial support when it is needed. The nursing lioness represents someone who prefers to focus on caring for the home.
The system’s idea of complementarity rests on one person taking more of the initiative and the other a supporting role, according to their inclinations. Both need to acknowledge that arrangement. If both want to lead in the same way, a struggle over each one’s place may arise.
They share a liking for entertaining well, enjoying carefully kept surroundings and building a life as a couple and as a family. Those interests can give them a firm foundation when they answer to the project both of them want. Day-to-day organization needs agreements: neither one’s role can be taken for granted.
