In these texts, A is the person whose Moon is read and B the person whose North Node receives it.
The system interprets this contact through its karmic language: a sense of a previous bond that may be lived with affinity or with unease.
Facilitating contact
From the start there may be the impression of being lifelong friends. In their imagination, A tries to remember something that feels familiar, even if they never put it into words. The closeness seems to have a history older than the present encounter.
Obstructing contact
A may fear that something will interrupt the relationship. The wish to be together comes with an unease that is hard to explain, as if at the same time there were a reason not to go on.
These feelings may stay on the mental level. Even when other favorable elements of the synastry bring confidence, that shadow of doubt sometimes returns.
Aspects of the Moon
The Moon represents imagination and daydreaming. The person whose Moon takes part in an aspect may spend a lot of time thinking about their partner and about what happens between them, without the other ever coming to know that inner world.
These are impressions that are often not put into words. Even so, they influence how we see the other person and what we imagine the relationship could become. Within the system, the Moon is also linked to the way we manage time.
When studying these aspects, it helps to distinguish inventories 1 and 2. Some reactions come from learned family and cultural models. Others are interpreted here from the astrological configuration. Confusing the two levels can lead us to attribute a more complex experience to a single cause.
